Food & Chemical Industry (Fermenters): LS Series longitudinal seam welders are ideal for joining stainless steel cylindrical shells. Structural rigidity eliminates vibration, guaranteeing perfectly smooth, porosity-free weld beads that comply with the strictest hygiene standards.
Beverage Kegs & Containers: The LS range automates continuous linear seam welding for hollow bodies and beverage kegs. Millimetric edge alignment dramatically reduces setup times and scrap rates on high-volume production runs.
Heavy Fabrication & Pressure Vessels: Thanks to the Chromium-Zirconium Copper backing bar and bronze alloy clamping fingers, the LS and LSC (Combined) models handle thick metals (up to 15 mm), neutralizing thermal shock and eliminating sheet metal distortion.
Industrial Piping & Ventilation Ducts: LS Standard and LSI (Flat) systems convert flat sheet metal into flawless linear ducts. The automated cycle maintains constant torch-carriage speed, ensuring absolute geometric repeatability.

Built for Superior Precision and Zero. Smooth linear motion on hardened, ground recirculating ball screw guides combines with premium-grade mechanical components to ensure flawless operational continuity:
- Chromium-Zirconium Copper Backing Bar: Engineered to withstand extreme thermal stress, equipped with an integrated cooling circuit to preserve bar integrity.
- Bronze Alloy Clamping Fingers: Deliver uniform clamping pressure across the joint, completely preventing sheet metal distortion during the welding cycle.
- Advanced Torch Carriage: Features a vertical pneumatic lift-off system and manual cross-slide for micrometric fine-tuning.
Cooling System
Zero Thermal Shock and Flawless Welds. To ensure flawless weld beads and prevent thermal distortion on thin sheet metal, the LS Series features a high-performance forced cooling circuit:
- Advanced Integrated Cooling: A continuous flow of liquid coolant runs directly inside the Chromium-Zirconium Copper backing bar, preserving its structural integrity and drastically extending its service life.
- Dedicated Cooling Unit: Manages standard thermal regulation across the seam welder to maintain a constant, highly repeatable working temperature.
- Chiller Option for Heavy-Duty Cycles: For intensive production runs with high duty cycles, the system can be equipped with an industrial chiller unit (not supplied by Valentek), eliminating downtime between welding passes.

Automated step-by-step cycle management significantly reduces loading and unloading times while eliminating human error.
