This Privacy Policy has been written on the basis of REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation)
We wish to inform you that the personal data that you have provided or that you will provide to us, or your personal data that we acquire within the scope of our activity as provided for by law, may be subject to processing, in compliance with the regulations in force and the principles of confidentiality, within the scope of the activity of the company Valentek srl di Valentini Alberto (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Data Controller’ for the sake of brevity) operating in the field of electrical and electromechanical automation and related activities.
Processing’ shall mean any operation, or set of operations, carried out even without the aid of automated means, concerning the collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, communication, dissemination, deletion and distribution of data, even if not recorded on a database.
PURPOSES AND METHODS OF THE PROCESSING FOR WHICH THE DATA ARE INTENDED
The data provided or otherwise acquired in the course of the Controller’s activity:
- Will be processed for institutional purposes, connected with or instrumental to the professional and consulting activity of the Data Controller itself.
- They may be processed as part of operations inherent to the Controller’s professional activity.
- Other appointed subjects involved in the organisation, such as external subjects (third party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies, marketing agencies, and website maintenance) also appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Controller who will process the data as part of purposes, connected or instrumental to the Controller’s own activity for the Controller itself and to meet the requests of the data subject, in compliance with the law currently in force. The updated list of Data Processors can always be requested from the Data Controller.
TRANSFER OF DATA and LEGAL BASIS
The Controller processes your personal data provided by you by means of automated and non-automated computer aids, in the event of one of the following conditions occurring:
- The user has given consent for one or more specific purposes; (See Note 1)
- The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the User concerned and/or the performance of pre-contractual measures to fulfil the measures in question or the contract itself;
- Processing is necessary to comply with a legislative obligation subject to the Controller;
- Processing is necessary for the performance of one or more tasks of public interest or for the exercise of public authority vested in the Controller;
- Processing is necessary to comply with and pursue the legitimate interest of the Controller or of third parties.
However, it is always possible to ask the Controller to explain in detail the legal basis of each processing, in detail to specify whether the processing is based on law, required by a contract or necessary to conclude a contract or fulfil other requests made by the users concerned.
Note 1: the Controller may be authorised to process Personal Data without the consent of the data subject or another of the legal bases specified below, as long as the data subject does not object to such processing. However, this does not apply if the processing of Personal Data of the data subject is governed by national/European legislation on the protection of Personal Data;
PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Data are processed and stored for the necessary time required by the purposes for which they were collected therefore:
- Personal data provided for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Controller and the user concerned will be retained and kept until the performance of that contract.
- Personal data provided for purposes related to the legitimate interest of the Controller will be retained and kept until such interest is satisfied. The data subject may obtain further information regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller by contacting the Controller.
When the processing is based on the consent of the user concerned, the Controller may keep the personal data for a longer period until such consent is revoked. Furthermore, the Controller may be obliged to retain personal data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of a competent authority.
At the end of the retention period, the personal data will be deleted. Therefore, upon expiry of this period, the right of access, cancellation, rectification and the right to portability of personal data can no longer be exercised.
DATA CONTROLLER AND LOCATION
The data controller of the data provided by interested users to Valentek is:

PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
The Data of the user concerned are collected to enable the Controller to provide its Services, as well as for the following purposes:

- Interaction via social networks and external messaging platforms,
- Managing payments,
- Interaction with live chat platforms, Marketing and targeting for advertising purposes,
- Managing email addresses and sending email messages,
- Display of content from external platforms,
- Commercial affiliations,
- Interaction with support, feedback, help desk, troubleshooting and user reporting platforms
- Management of user archives and databases,
- Handling of support and/or contact requests
RIGHTS OF THE USERS CONCERNED
Users may exercise certain rights with regard to the Data processed by the Data Controller.
In particular, the User has the right to:
- To revoke consent at any time, the user may revoke the consent to the processing of his or her personal data previously given.
- Object to the processing of your data, you may object to the processing of your data when this is done on a legal basis other than consent.
- The user has the right to obtain information on the data processed by the controller, on certain aspects of the processing and to receive a copy of the data processed.
- Rectification and verification of data. Users may verify the correctness of their data and request that it be updated, amended or corrected.
- Obtaining the restriction of processing, when certain conditions are met, the user may request the restriction of the processing of their data. In this case, the data controller will not process the data for any purpose other than its storage.
- Obtain the deletion or removal of your personal data, when certain conditions are met, you may request that the owner delete your data.
- Receive your data or have them transferred to another data controller, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable, computer- or paper-based format and, where technically feasible, to have it transferred without hindrance to another data controller. This provision is applicable when the data are processed by automated means and the processing is based on the consent of the user.
- Anonymisation of data, the user may request that personal data be made anonymous.
- Complaints, the user may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority or take legal action.
Details on the right to object
Where Personal Data are processed in the public interest, in the exercise of public authority vested in the Controller or in pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Controller, Users have the right to object to the processing on grounds relating to their particular situation.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by informing the users concerned via this page. We therefore recommend consulting this page, referring to the date of last modification indicated on the page itself. If you do not accept the changes to this privacy policy, you may request the Data Controller to remove your Personal Data, unless otherwise specified, the previous privacy policy shall continue to apply to the Personal Data previously collected.
